Overall objectives of the NICHE project

 Harmonisation of study programmes through further development and operationalization of National Qualification Framework (NQF) ensuring skills orientation and alignment with industry and business sectors.  

  Specific Objectives

  1. To strengthen the TCU in setting up and operationalising the NQF to harmonize study programme at universities, specifically gender sensitive business and enterpreneurship studies
  2. To pilot the NQF at Mzumbe University (MU) and Iringa University College (IUCo)
  3. To mainstream gender equality in the NQF, the study programmes at MU and IUCo, and in the management practices of the three organisations TCU, MU and IUCo
  4. To skillfully align the NQF and harmonize programmes, including the business and enterpreneurship studies, with the needs of the business and industry sector.
