    Executive Secretary of Tanzania Commission for Universities Prof. Charles Kihampa gives a keynote speech to personnel responsible for Admissions process in Higher Learning Istitutions, during a one-day Post-Admission meeting to deliberate and receive feedback on among others Quality Assuarance issues in the 2019/2020 admission process. The meeting was held in Dar es Salaam on 1st November, 2019.

    TCU Director of Admission Coordination and Data Management Dr. Kokuberwa Katunzi-Mollel delivers a presentation on Issues and Challenges in the 2019/2020 Admission process. TCU is mandated among others things, to coordinate admissions of students into Higher Learning Institutions.

    The President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council Hon. Dr. Ali Mohamed Shein who is also the Chancellor of State University of Zanzibar (SUZA) reads a Certificate of Accreditation presented to SUZA by Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU), during a ceremony to recognize its success since its establishments in 1999. The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) is a body corporate established on  1st July 2005, under the Universities Act 2005 (Chapter 346 of the Laws of Tanzania) with mandate to recognize, approve, register and accredit Universities operating in Tanzania, and local or foreign University level programs being offered by registered higher education institutions. It also coordinates the proper functioning of all university institutions in Tanzania so as to foster a harmonized higher education system in the country. Read More
